Ascend Martial Arts (formerly Cancino’s Black Belt Academy, LLC) has been teaching the Reno community since 1999. Ascend teaches multidisciplinary martial arts including Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu. Classes offer a modern, competitive edge to ensure students are grounded in martial arts ethics such as discipline and respect, but also have fun and feel energized within each class. Ascend is affiliated with the National Martial Arts Alliance, along with 40+ schools in the United States and worldwide.


We currently have 2 locations in Reno, Nevada and 1 location in Selma, California.
